Ethereum DCA calculator
Dollar cost averaging into Ethereum means buying a fixed amount of ETH on a fixed schedule instead of guessing the right moment. Enter your monthly buy, how long you keep it up, and the prices you want to test. The tool assumes a straight-line price path, so read it as an illustration rather than a forecast.
On small recurring ETH purchases the spread on a simple buy button often costs more than the headline fee.

How to read your Ethereum DCA result
The number that matters most is not the final value — it is the average buy price. That figure tells you where your break-even sits, and it is the only output here that does not depend on a price you invented. If your average buy price is comfortably below what you believe ETH is worth over your holding period, the plan is doing its job.
Fees deserve the second look. A half-per-cent fee on $100 a month sounds trivial, but over four years of buys it quietly removes a full month's contribution. Recurring-buy features on simple apps often bundle a wider spread than the advanced trading screen of the same platform, so compare both before you automate anything.
Two habits keep a DCA plan honest: pick an amount you can sustain through a bad year rather than an exciting one, and decide in advance what would make you stop. Plans abandoned halfway through a fall capture the downside and miss the recovery, which is the opposite of what averaging is for.
Ethereum-specific things this tool does not model
Staking rewards, gas costs when moving ETH to a wallet you control, and tax on disposals are all outside this calculation. Staking can add yield but locks capital and carries platform or validator risk; in most countries, rewards are taxable income when received. Keep a record of every buy from the beginning — reconstructing it years later is painful.

Educational tool only. The results are simplified estimates and are not financial, investment or tax advice. Real returns vary, fees and taxes apply, and crypto assets can lose all of their value.
